Many flooring suppliers provide a floor without offering matching stair solutions or coordinating thresholds, which can leave the final result feeling inconsistent. At Oak & Edge Flooring, we work closely with a specialist joinery company to produce bespoke oak stair cladding using the same timber as your floor. Each component is then finished in the same oils or lacquers to ensure a completely seamless colour match throughout the project.

Nothing compromises a beautifully designed interior more than flooring and staircases that fail to match correctly. By using the same materials and finishing process throughout, we achieve a level of consistency that standard off-the-shelf stair components simply cannot offer.

We also manufacture full stair treads in one complete piece, rather than using separate planks with applied nosings. This creates a far more refined appearance while ensuring the colour, grain and finish remain perfectly consistent with the surrounding floor.
