Our Commitment

We guarantee that all Oak & Edge engineered flooring products:

  • Will meet their described specification.

  • Are manufactured to a high standard of quality.

  • Are suitable for their intended residential or commercial use.

This warranty applies for the lifetime of the product, covering structural integrity under normal conditions of use.

What This Warranty Covers

This warranty applies to the structural performance of the floor in its original manufactured state.

Specifically, Oak & Edge flooring is warranted against:

  • Structural defects within the board construction.

  • Delamination of engineered layers.

  • Twisting beyond acceptable tolerances.

  • Manufacturing faults affecting the core stability.

This assurance relates to the integrity of the product itself—not the surface finish or natural ageing of the material.

Natural Characteristics of Wood

Wood is a living material, and its variation is part of its appeal.

Each floor will display:

  • Natural variation in colour and tone.

  • Unique grain patterns.

  • Subtle movement in response to environmental changes.

These characteristics are inherent to timber and are not considered defects.

Before Installation

It is the responsibility of the installer to carefully assess the material prior to fitting.

  • Any boards considered unsuitable in appearance or condition should be set aside.

  • Installation constitutes full acceptance of the product.

Claims relating to visible defects cannot be accepted once the floor has been installed.

Conditions of Warranty

To ensure the validity of this warranty, the following must be strictly adhered to:

  • Installation must follow recognised industry standards (e.g. BS8201 or equivalent)

  • Subfloor preparation must be appropriate and compliant.

  • Recommended installation methods must be followed.

  • The correct maintenance procedures must be carried out.

  • a fidbox is install if underfloor heating is present.

Environmental conditions must also be maintained consistently throughout the life of the floor.

Environmental Responsibility

Timber responds to its surroundings.

For long-term stability:

  • Temperature and humidity must remain within recommended ranges.

  • Sudden or extreme changes should be avoided.

Damage resulting from unsuitable environmental conditions—including excessive heat, dryness, moisture, or water ingress—is not covered under this warranty.

What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not extend to:

  • General wear and surface ageing.

  • Damage caused by moisture, flooding, or plumbing failure.

  • Movement caused by incorrect environmental conditions..

  • Adhesive failure due to unsuitable installation or subfloor issues.

  • Any indirect or consequential losses.

The warranty applies to the flooring product only.

Underfloor Heating

Where underfloor heating is installed:

  • All system and installation guidelines must be followed.

  • Environmental conditions must be carefully controlled.

For enhanced protection and monitoring, environmental data systems may be required to validate conditions over time.

Ownership & Claims

  • This warranty applies from the original date of purchase.

  • It is non-transferable.

  • Proof of purchase is required for any claim.
